Vision and mission

Cryo-Save Group’s vision is to become the industry’s global centre of excellence in the application and intellectual development of cryo-technology of human tissues and stem cells. Cryo-Save Group strives to be a global healthcare provider in the field of tissue engineering and stem cell therapeutic applications. Cryo-Save Group believes that many future treatments of patients will be based upon stem cell therapies scientifically tested and developed and prescribed by specialists in hospitals. In order to embrace this evolution, the company has started to preserve the required materials, e.g. stem cells.

To develop this vision, the company intends to expand geographically its European leadership of family stem cell banking towards other regions and ultimately towards other continents. In August 2006 the company became active in the Middle East through its partnership with Cryo-Save Arabia, the region’s first family cord blood stem cell bank at the Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park.

Furthermore, Cryo-Save Group is investing its human and capital resources in the research and development of expansion of human tissues and cells and in the potential therapeutic applications. Ultimately and for that purpose the company's mission is to establish strategic partnerships and synergies with both public and private organisations and institutes driven by the same scientific approach in order to realise this common vision.
