In the future the treatment of different diseases based upon stem cells will become day-to-day practice. The larger the number of stem cells applied, the better the results of the treatment will be.

The current collection and preservation of stem cells from cord blood is easy without any risks for the baby or the mother. Cord blood stem cells are fit for differentiation into different tissue types. Because of the continuous evolution of therapeutic possibilities of stem cells for adults, methods for cell expansion must be readily available thus allowing treatment of adult patients.

A CE-approved method for the abundant production of stem cells can be made available by the purchase of computer controlled GMP-authorized equipment. Cryo-Save Group is working together with an international team of scientists to develop and optimalise methods for cell expansion. Once developed and approved by the authorities, this service will be offered at first through the Cryo-Save network.
